Finger Workout Day 4 - Squirting Bubbles

Bubble play has been around for hundreds of years.  Seventeenth century Flemish painters show children blowing bubbles with clay pipes and generations of 18th and 19th century mothers gave their children washing soap to blow bubbles.   (http://bubbles.org/html/history/toyhistory.htm)

Almost everyone can remember blowing, chasing, and popping bubbles as a kid.  It was fun then and its still fun today.  Up the challenge of popping bubbles by adding a squirt bottle to the play. Not only are the kids getting a gross and fine motor workout, they're also having fun while creating childhood bubble blowing memories of their own.
